Contemporary - Space for Dance is Prague's exclusive dance studio for children and adults. In September 2010 it was founded by choreographer MgA. Vendula Poznarová and is run by Contemporary z.s., which has been teaching dance since 1998. During the time of the studio's operation, a heart team of Poznarová - Šleisová - Dědková has formed, which have built a modern, pleasant and professional space for dance.
The space is open to people who love to dance, want to educate themselves in dance or improve their figure, fitness and keep a free creative mind through movement. In addition to a large selection of classes in various dance styles for amateur adult dancers and children's possible future professionals, the studio also comes alive with the work of renowned dance companies and choreographers. The genius loci of the space originally built for dance in the historical building of the National House in Vinohrady has therefore been preserved.
Contemporary - Contemporary, modern, contemporary dance style combining various dance techniques and styles from ballet to modern to urban styles.
